How does the unit work?
Like a domestic fridge, the part of the unit which expulses heat is housed internally alongside the heat absorption part. This removes the need for an outdoor condensing unit and removes the necessity for specialist installation labour.

Why is installation so simple?
Installation is simple because the unit comes with full instructions, a template to show where to drill the two 6″ external vents through to the outside wall and a kit to fix it to the wall. Once the MERLIN TM is positioned correctly it is simply plugged into the main electricity supply using a standard13 amp plug and is ready to go.
